Alcatel-Lucent is recognized for leadership and performance with our Supplier Diversity Program. As a leader in the telecom industry, we strive to set the bar for other telecom companies and for our primes in supporting diversity initiatives.
We work closely with the primes to drive inclusions throughout our supply chain. Locating the right supplier for the right opportunity is critical for the success of any supplier diversity program. That effort usually includes mentoring and counseling diversity suppliers before and after they participate in a bid.
We work closely with the decision-makers so that qualified diversity suppliers are included in the bidding process and we assist as the responses are reviewed.
The Supplier Diversity Team is dedicated to finding opportunities within Alcatel-Lucent and our primes to support the economic growth within our community and the telecom industry. This Team is also actively engaged in supporting minority, women’s and veterans’ councils and organizations.
