To qualify as a minority- or women-owned business with Alcatel-Lucent, the company must be at least 51% owned, controlled and managed by one or more minority group members or women.

  • Certified as a MWBE supplier by an independent third-party organization or government entity
  • Quality process including TL 9000; ISO9000:2000
  • Demonstrate financial stability and insurance
  • Show competitive and value-added capabilities
  • Core competency in the supplier’s line of business

Alcatel-Lucent accepts state and local government certifying agency certifications as well as the affiliates of those agencies. Veteran/Service Disabled Veteran certifications are verified through the US Department of Veteran Affairs (www.vetbiz.gov); HUBZone are verified through Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov)

An independent third-party diversity certification must be obtained from a national/regional minority council or a women’s business enterprise national/regional council.

If you are interested in pursuing a supplier relationship with Alcatel-Lucent, you must complete the Supplier Classification Form. Upon receipt of a completed and signed form, with the applicable certifications, Alcatel-Lucent will review, and route to the appropriate purchasing group.
