the BlackBerry® solution for Magticom customers in Georgia. Magticom
customers will now be able to enjoy the productivity benefits of using
BlackBerry® smartphones to stay connected to people and information while on
the go. Users will benefit from enhanced communication with mobile access to
email, the Internet and phone calls, as well as powerful multimedia features
and easy access to a wide range of business and leisure applications.

At launch, Magticom Georgia will offer its customers the BlackBerry® Bold™,
BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 and BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8120 smartphones.
The BlackBerry Bold smartphone is a communications and multimedia
powerhouse. It is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA
high-speed networks around the world and comes with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi®

sophisticated user interface and newly designed full-QWERTY keyboard.
The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone packs a wide range of advanced
communications and multimedia capabilities into a sleek and light full-QWERTY
design. In addition to being an exceptional phone that offers access to email,
messaging, organizer, web browser and multimedia applications, the new
BlackBerry Curve 8900 features built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), GPS for
location-based applications, Bluetooth® 2.0, a next generation processor
(512MHz) and a dazzling hi-resolution display.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone features a comprehensive suite of rich
communications and multimedia features in an impressively small and stylish
design. It is a world phone (EDGE/GPRS/GSM) and includes Wi-Fi connectivity.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 delivers an exceptional user experience and features
RIM’s popular SureType® keyboard, which enables a narrower handset design while
allowing easy phone dialling and message typing.
Magticom is offering BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for corporate clients, a
solution that tightly integrates with IBM Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange
and Novell® GroupWise® and works with existing enterprise systems to enable
secure, push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data.
BlackBerry® services also allow consumers and business users to manage up to
ten supported email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts) from
their BlackBerry smartphone.
Based on its distribution agreement with RIM, Alcatel-Lucent leveraged its
strong local presence in the region to provide Magticom Georgia with the
project management, end-to-end implementation, installation, and on-going
support services for delivering the BlackBerry solution to the Georgian market.
With Alcatel-Lucent managing integration and deployment, Magticom can focus on
delivering customer facing services, enabling the operator to quickly meet
market demand.
