Welcome to the Alcatel-Lucent SRC Exam Preparation Service. 

The SRC Exam Preparation Service (SRC ExamPrep) is designed for the many IP professionals who do not have access to the equipment and tools they need to help them prepare for obtaining their Alcatel-Lucent Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II) and Service Routing Architect (SRA) certifications.  Both certifications require successful completion of an intensive, hands-on practical lab exam:

  • The Alcatel-Lucent NRS II Practical Lab Exam (NRSII4A0)
  • The Alcatel-Lucent SRA Practical Lab Exam (ASRA4A0)
  • The Alcatel-Lucent MRP Practical Lab Exam (MRP4A0) -- Practice scenarios for MRP coming in 2012

SRC ExamPrep, quality designed and managed exclusively by Alcatel-Lucent, provides participants with everything they need to prepare for taking their SRC exams, or for practicing and advancing their service router configuration skills in a real lab environment.  The service provides:

  • Dedicated, remote access to an Alcatel-Lucent service router lab environment consisting of a fully-meshed 6 node service router topology
  • Remote access to traffic simulation and analysis tools
  • Access to a suite of over 30 lab “practice” scenarios and optimal solutions 

Scheduling SRC lab sessions is flexible and easy.  Equipment is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Lab sessions are based on three (3) 1-hour time slots and multiple time slots can be conveniently scheduled as often as you like.  SRC router, network, and service configurations can be saved at any point and automatically restored for re-use during future lab sessions. 

The service also provides access to over 30 practice scenarios, including optimal solutions, to help you prepare for the NRS II and/or SRA practical lab exams, or just help you practice for general purposes.  See the SRC Practice Scenario Abstracts for an overview of available scenarios.  

All you need to get started is an Alcatel-Lucent.com account and then follow the few simple steps below!

  • Register for Access
  • Role = General Access
